Halloween 2009

It was a good night - after a pretty long stretch of gray, rainy weather (including in the morning) things cleared up in time for trick-or-treating. We didn't know exactly what to expect with our first year here on Cumberland Rd, but it turned out to be quite a good scene - lots of kids running around.

We went with our neighbors, Jennifer (the mom) and Alexa (7) the plumber and Samantha (4?) the "tornado vampire witch." Dillon was dressed as Batman, Jackson was a vampire, and Tyler was a monkey (commonly called a very cute mouse). D&J were pretty much old pros at this point, very focused on running to the next house, although the first couple of houses, D was a bit shy and less interested in going to the front door. Ty did really well - while he still didn't fully understand the whole concept, he had no problem walking up to each door, picking out his candy, even saying thank you. Very cute.
