Christmas 2006 - The Torens visit

Grandpa and Grandma, and Uncle Nick and Aunt Elise came up to visit after Christmas and for New Years - it was a great time.

Christmas 2006 - part 1

This was the first year that the boys really got into the concept of Santa and the fact that they would be getting gifts!!! We had a lot of fun (although fortunately we haven't yet hit the stage where they get up super early and wake us up - it was a normal wakeup time).

Gingerbread houses

Annabel hosted a gingerbread house party as our donation to the preschool auction - it was a lot of fun, although an incredible amount of work for her (of course she had to make all the house pieces from scratch instead of buying kits!). The boys had a great time and made a nifty house, which became one of the pictures for this year's christmas card, below...
