Beautiful sunrise for the day ...

... and the kids had a blast opening their presents.

the stomach bug was still lurking ... Jude wasn't feeling great in the morning, and over the course of the day it proceeded to take down Nick (most of the day) and then both A and me by ~dinnertime. Instead of the original plan to have crab, champagne, warm bread and salad with Michael and Sharon, instead only half the adults ate store-bought chicken noodle soup! while Nick, A and I all recovered by the next day, it then took down Michael/Sharon on the 26th. And it continued to haunt Jude and Neve over the course of the next 3-4 days! Such a bummer. They didn't really fully recover until the 30th / 31st...
